VELA is an app that gives each luxury rental property one official availability calendar, controlled by its owner and shared with the rental professionals the owner chooses. This policy explains what personal data VELA processes, why, and the rights you have.

In short. We only keep what is needed to share availability between owners and the professionals they invite. We do not sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps or websites. Your data is hosted in the European Union, and you can delete your account at any time from the app.

How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), your account and the data linked to it are deleted immediately from our live systems:

Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period (up to 30 days) before being overwritten.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its processing. Most of this you can do directly in the app (Settings → Personal details, Delete account). For anything else, write to support@velacalendars.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Access rules are enforced on our servers, so each person only receives the data they are allowed to see. Passwords are never stored in readable form.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the app or by email.
