VELATerms of use
These terms govern the use of the VELA app and website by property owners, property managers and rental professionals. VELA is provided by KEYSTONE, EURL with a share capital of €1,000, registered office 540 Première Avenue, 06600 Antibes, France, registered with the RCS Antibes under number 101 603 900, represented by its manager Théo Raschiero. By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. What VELA does
VELA lets an owner keep one official availability calendar for each property and share it with the rental professionals they choose. Professionals can see the calendar and the owner’s published rates, and send requests to block dates or hold an option. VELA is not a booking platform: it does not take bookings or payments and is not a party to any rental agreement, mandate or commission arrangement between users.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
- You are responsible for your login and for what is done with it. Tell us straight away if you think it has been misused.
- An agency admin is responsible for the colleagues they invite and the roles they give them.
3. Owners
- Only the owner, and the managers the owner adds, can change a property’s calendar. You confirm you have the right to manage the properties you add.
- You decide which professionals can see each property and can remove access at any time.
- Rates are published for reference only. They are not an offer, and the final price is agreed directly between the parties.
4. Rental professionals
- You see only the properties you were invited to.
- You must keep availability, rates and owner details confidential and use them only to serve your clients.
- A request has no effect until the owner approves it. Options are released automatically when they expire.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use VELA to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send unsolicited messages, access data you are not entitled to, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to the content you add, such as photos and descriptions, and allow us to store and display it to the people you share it with, only to provide the service.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep VELA available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Users remain responsible for their own commitments to clients and partners, and should confirm important bookings directly with each other. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost bookings or commissions.
8. Price
VELA is free during its launch period. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you will be free to accept or delete your account.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). See the privacy policy for what happens to your data.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by French law, and the courts of France have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules.
